“ We came here for Sunday lunch in December and I honestly could not fault the place. We had the corn riblets, salt fish fritters, chicken wings and the lamb and chicken roast and everything was 10/10. Service was great, drinks were really good. Not sure how we had room for pudding but the banana bread and ice cream is a must, as is the rum punch! I wish I had a lifetime supply of the gravy ”
“ 8th time visiting, food and drink is amazing, Sunday roast is amazing, weekday menu is fab too! What makes it perfect is the great team of staff there, Al get on so well. There is a manager lady there who is so in control and so gorgeous! Fantastic to see it really busy as well, an absolute gem of a place, highly recommended for anyone ”
“ If I could score this place 6 stars then i would, honestly the best Sunday roast I've had in a long time!! The jerk chicken was full of flavour, the veg was well cooked, the mac n cheese and Yorkshire pudding both were a perfect addition! Add to that the gravy and the sweet potato roasties!!!... honestly spot on! We will be back soon to try the standard menu and probably the bottomless brunch!! ”
“ I finally visited this place after hearing my friend rave about it—and I’m so glad I did! The food was absolutely lovely, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was great too. Definitely planning to come back soon! ”
“ I was really looking forward to coming to this now well established restaurant and bar. Their social media has always been lively and fun with some decent looking food. My visit matched this view easily. Situated on Hinckley Road, this used to be a bar called Entropy for those that remember. 3 little birds have utilised the space very well. It has more tables that you might expect and there is also bar seating and a small garden and seating outside the front. Throughout our visit for our large party, there was excellent and friendly service despite it being pretty busy. Yes, this is somewhere I would advise booking owing to the popularity. Food - probably the most important part - just great. They have taken elements of what people may term street food while maintaining core elements of Caribbean cooking, So you can get sliders, tacos, and wings, as well curry and rice and peas. The jerk chicken was excellent as one might expect. The hard part is what to order, and I went crazy with the okra, corn ribs, and a curry bowl, as well as some wings. Everything was tasty and freshly cooked. Nothing disappointed. This is, I hope, somewhere that stays open for years to come. I shall someone that visits there often in future. Apparently, the Sunday dinner is amazing. Next time... ”
“ Once again I had a great time here. Okra chips and jerk chicken Mac and cheese are delicious. Wings were very good too and I don't usually enjoy wings so that's saying something Tropical mocktails were great. The decor is beautiful and the restaurant area and ladies is clean, spotless and fresh. Staff are so friendly and jolly especially Kamala and Jason. Music was great too. Thanks for the service. ”
“ First visit having just moved to the area and it was great. Ordered the half jerk chicken, salt fish fritters, sweet potato croquettes, plantain and dumplings between 2 with a couple of pints. The spice was spot on, excellent heat without distracting from the other flavours- this is soul food you'll sell yours for. Jerk chicken was beautifully charred with a spicy rice and peas and red cabbage slaw (nose running hot but delicious) Salt fish fritters were jam packed with fish and served with a mild curry mayo and more red slaw. Plantain was beautifully crispy and the croquettes added a delightful sweetness and squidge (watch out for that mango sauce - scotch bonnet hot!) The dumplings (perfect for dipping in curry) added a lovely carrier for the other flavours (i smodged chicken and rice on mine). Service was relaxed but attentive. Portions are generous and we left very satisfied with no room for dessert. Only criticism was when a birthday was celebrated they upped the music to uncomfortable levels to play stevie wonder happy birthday, it's great to celebrate with your customers but it was just far too loud for most of the other patrons in the room (normal volumes resumed after the song though thankfully) Paid about 25 per head with drinks but cocktails will make it substantially more. A 5 deposit per person is taken when you book but this is immediately removed from your bill when you pay. Will definitely return. ”
“ 10/10. We went as a group of 6 and all.of us enjoyed our time. The food is incredible. The service is exceptional. The vibe is buzzing. Independent restaurants like this need business. There's very few places like this around these days that are full of heart. I'll 100% be coming back. ”
